IN Man Amon Johnson ID’d As Victim Found Shot Dead In Evansville Alley Tuesday

EVANSVILLE, IN. (THECOUNT) — Amon Johnson, of Evansville, Indiana, has been identified as the victim found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in an alley near 600 East Missouri Street, in Evansville, Tuesday morning.

Johnson, 21, died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the coroner.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police were called to an alley in the 600 block of E Missouri just before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday. Officers say they found the body of a man, who appeared to have been shot. The coroner says the man is 21-year-old Amon Johnson of Evansville. An autopsy showed Johnson died from multiple gunshot wounds. source
