GA Woman Letesha Taylor ID’d As Woman Found Dead Tuesday In Augusta Apartment

AUGUSTA, GA. (THECOUNT) Letesha Taylor has been identified as the woman found dead in an Augusta, GA, apartment earlier this week.

Taylor, 25, was found deceased Tuesday in an apartment on the 2300 block of Barton Chapel Road in Augusta, GA. A 4-year-old child was found roaming in the apartment and appeared to be uninjuried.

The woman was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m., and authorities believe she had been dead for several hours before being found. An autopsy was performed Wednesday and results are pending toxicology, according to the coroner. source

The child was transported to Children’s Hospital of Georgia to be checked out.
