SALEM, IN. (THECOUNT) — Gregory Naugle has been identified as the victim killed in an ATV accident in Salem, IN, on Saturday.
Naugle, 57, was named as the man who died after an accident that involved an ATV in Washington County Saturday.
According to a news release, on Saturday around 5 p.m., emergency workers went to the 5300 North Marrs Road, Salem, IN.
Friends alerted authorities after not hearing from Naugle since Wednesday.
When responders arrived, they found 57-year-old Gregory Naugle pinned under a Honda ATV off a remote road on property where he lived. Naugle was pronounced dead at the scene. source
Officials say Naugle was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Authorities say Naugle passed away after suffering multiple blunt force injuries during the crash.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
