OH Man Killed After Shot In Dayton Vehicle Identified As Calvin Tribble

DAYTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Calvin C. Tribble, of Dayton, Ohio, has been identified as the man killed Tuesday night after being shot at least once inside a car on Wentworth Avenue, in Dayton, Ohio.

Tribble, 21, was inside a vehicle with two other individuals when someone opened fire before 9 p.m., striking Tribble, according to Dayton police Sgt. Jeffrey Spires.

Spires said two other people were in the car, a blue Cadillac, at the time of the shooting. Those witnesses were being interviewed Tuesday night by detectives, he said.

The shooter was reported to be driving a red Dodge Charger with black stripes on the side, according to the Montgomery County Regional officials.

Police later found the vehicle abandoned in Dayton, about three miles from the shooting scene. source

Witnesses on the scene told police they saw the driver flee from the car.

Spires said detectives have not confirmed the Charger was connected to the shooting, which remains under investigation.
