SMITH COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Quidajean Reanne Crawford, of Tyler, TX, has been identified as the woman accused of hitting a Family Dollar store employee with her vehicle.
Crawford, 21, was indicted Tuesday, by a Smith County jury, on a aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge after being accused of striking an employee at a Tyler Family Dollar following an altercation within the store.
Crawford was allegedly involved in an altercation with employees of the store when she exited the business, located at 1403 East Gentry Parkway, in Tyler, TX.
Once outside, the suspect entered a vehicle. The employees followed Crawford outside to copy down her license plate number, and then is when the collision occurred.
She was booked into the Smith County jail on Sept. 2 after a warrant was obtained for her arrest on Sept. 1, according to Tyler police.
According to the Tyler Police Department, they responded to the Family Dollar located at 1403 East Gentry Parkway in response to an aggravated assault. It was reported that the suspect, identified as Crawford, had gotten into an altercation with an employee within the store. source
Crawford remains in the Smith County jail under a $250,000 bond.
