TRAVELERS REST, SC. (THECOUNT) — Jessica Faye Adaline Adams, from Pickens, South Carolina, has been identified as the teenager killed following a collision in Travelers Rest Saturday night.
Adams, 17, was traveling in a vehicle with four others when the collision occurred on Highway 25, in Travelers Rest, SC, according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
Adams was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the crash.
The Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office said the crash remains under investigation.
According to the coroner’s office, Adams was one of five occupants involved in the single-vehicle collision. The driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center median, causing the vehicle to overturn and Adams to be ejected, the coroner said. source
