NESCONSET, NY. (THECOUNT) — Kevin Hartnett, the pedestrian struck by a vehicle crash on September 29 in Nesconset, NY, has died of his injuries on Sunday, according to Suffolk officials.
Hartnett, 26, of Ronkonkoma, was walking northbound on the shoulder of the roadway at 8 p.m., police said, when he was struck by, Jesse Santucci, 42, who was later charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Hartnett was transported to an area Hospital in critical condition. He died Sunday of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the crash.
Santucci was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.
