FLORENCE, CO. (THECOUNT) — Ector Rodriguez, the owner of Fremont Lanes, in Florence, Colorado, was killed after getting stuck the bowling alley pin setting machine.

Rodriguez, 65, was fatally injured after he became stuck in the machine used to automatically reset the bowling pins between player turns.

When first responder arrived, they found Rodriguez, of Penrose, CO, unconscious and not breathing.

Police in Florence, about 100 miles southwest of Denver, say they responded to a call early Sunday afternoon and found 65-year-old Ector Rodriguez of Penrose stuck in the machine at Fremont Lanes. He was unconscious and not breathing. source

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fremont Lanes is located at, 108 W Main St, Florence, Colorado.

Florence police said no foul play is suspected and the death as it appears to be accidental.
