CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Selena Galvan has been identified as the victim struck and killed in a Sunday morning hit-and-run in Richmond.
Galvan, 30, was struck by a in the vehicle while walking in the 7500 block of Marbrett Drive, in Richmond, Chesterfield County, VA, sometime around 3:20 a.m. The driver fled the scene and is currently being sought by authorities.
Police believe Galvan was walking in the roadway at the time of the fatal crash.
Galvan was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.
No description of the suspect’s car had been provided as of Sunday morning.
