Recently Resigned MI Firefighter ID’d As Victim In Wednesday Oakland County Fatal Crash

OAKLAND CO. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Cervantes, a former firefighter who served the City of Burton Fire Department, has been identified as the victim of a Oakland County crash Wednesday.

Cervantes, whose are was not provided, has been named as the victim fatally hurt in a crash on Sept. 26 on Hadley Road in Oakland County’s Brandon Township.

Cervantes was a former Burton firefighter who is now being remembered as a husband, father, and hard worker after being fatally injured in a vehicle accident. source

Cervantes served the City of Burton Fire Department from July 3, 2017 to Sept. 17, 2018.

Assistant Burton Fire Chief said Josh had resigned from the department for “personal reasons.”
