ASHEVILLE, NC. (THECOUNT) — Brandie Angel, has been identified by the Asheville Police as the woman killed in a late-night shooting on Tuesday, Sept 25, 2018.
Angel, 27, of Asheville, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound while seated inside a vehicle outside a residence across the from the Bartlett Arms Apartments, on Bartlett Street in Asheville, NC.
Authorities say at approximately 11:41 p.m. officers from the Asheville Police Department were conducting foot patrol on Bartlett Street when they heard several gun discharges. Officers responded to the area of the gunshots and located a vehicle where two individuals were suffering from gunshot wounds near 100 Bartlett Street. source
Angel was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second adult male victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
