NC Teen Found Shot Dead In Charlotte Sunday Night ID’d As Tunji “Nlmb” Smith

CHARLOTTE, NC. (THECOUNT) — Tunji “Nlmb” Smith, of Charlotte, NC, has been identified as the victim found suffering from at least one gunshot wound Sunday evening.

Smith Jr., 19, was shot and killed in west Charlotte Sunday evening the 1200 block of Saratoga Drive near Browns Avenue.

Officers with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department were called around 7 p.m. to the 1200 block of Saratoga Drive near Browns Avenue where they found 19-year-old Tunji Smith Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. source

Medic pronounced Smith Jr. dead at the scene.

The shooting is under investigation.

Anyone with information about the deadly shooting should contact police at 911.
