ABERDEEN, MD. (THECOUNT) — Harford County sheriff identified, Snochia Moseley, of Baltimore County, a temporary employee at the Rite Aid distribution center, as the Rite Aid shooter.

The shooter who killed 3 people at an Aberdeen, MD Rite Aid distribution center, has been identified as 26-year-old Moseley. Moseley shot herself in the head shortly after committing the mass shooting. She has since died at a local hospital.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect, who acted alone, was a female who used one gun in the commision of the horrific crime.

The shooter, who has not yet been identified by name, was critically injured in the incident. She was transported to an area hospital. It is unclear how she became injured. Reload this page for updates.

Police are investigating reports of shots fired in a business district in Aberdeen, Maryland Thursday morning around 9 a.m.

Authorities told reporters there are multiple victims.

Paramedics and police are on the scene, and authorities have asked motorists to stay clear of the area.

The Hartford County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement via Twitter.

“We can confirm there was a shooting in the area of Spesutia Road and Perryman Road. Multiple victims. The situation is still fluid. Please avoid the area. Media staging area still TBD.”
