SPRINGFIELD, MO. (THECOUNT) — McKenzie Rauch, of Springfield, Missouri, has been identified as the teenager killed in a head-on wreck Monday.
Rauch, 16, was traveling on highway 160 between outside of Springfield, when for unknown reasons, crossed center lines and struck another vehicle Monday night.
Troopers say McKenzie Rauch, 16, drove across the center line and hit an SUV just before 8:00 p.m. The SUV ran off the highway, flipped several times, and then caught fire. source
Rauch was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the frash.
The driver of the SUV is in a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.
