SEBASTIAN, FL. — Kamaree Jevon Lyons, a Sebastian River High School senior sports star, died Saturday night following a school basketball event.
Lyons, 17, was playing basketball at the high school during open gym Saturday night when he collapsed and died, said Indian River County School District officials.
“He walked off the court and collapsed,” Maddux said. “An ambulance transported him to Sebastian River Medical Center and, unfortunately, he passed away.”
