DEWITT, NY. (THECOUNT) — 53-year-old Tracy Brown has been charged with murder in the second degree and hindering prosecution after two employees at Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurant in DeWitt, NY, were shot dead in a robbery last week, according to DeWitt police.
47-year-old Ronald Green is also behind bars. He is charged with murder in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Steve Gudknecht and Kris Hicks, both employees at the Chili’s, were named as those killed in the shooting.
(ORIGINAL STORY:) DeWitt police are on-scene searching for evidence a the Chilli’s, located at the Shoppingtown Mall, DeWitt, NY. Authorities are interviewing witnesses, according to John J. Anton, DeWitt police chief.
Police said officers responded to the restaurant by ShoppingTown Mall in DeWitt at 1:04 a.m., and found one employee dead at the scene. A second employee was transported to a local hospital, where he died, police said. source
