RENO, NV. (THECOUNT) — Kenneth Lee Homer III, has been identified as the DUI driver charged in a deadly crash in Reno Sunday.
Homer, 19, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving causing death of a person in a crash that occurred early Sunday in Reno near Sun Valley, the Reno Police Department said.
Homer was also booked on speeding and driving without a license.
Police said the crash happened at Scottsdale Road and Bullwinkle Drive at about 2:30 a.m. The vehicle left the road and rolled over. One female not wearing a seat belt was ejected and died at the scene, police said. Her name is not being released pending notification of next of kin. A second female suffered minor injuries and was released at the crash scene. source
Homer was treated at a hospital for injuries described as not life-threatening and was booked into jail.
