OCEAN SPRINGS, MS. (THECOUNT) — Kaylee Foster, a senior at Ocean Springs High School, won’t soon be forgotten on the Mississippi coast after Friday night.
The senior was crowned the 2018 Ocean Springs High School homecoming queen at halftime during Friday’s game. A short time later, she kicked the game-winning extra point to beat the George County Rebels.
Thanks to Foster’s kicking, the team beat the Rebels 13-12. Seven of the teams 13 points came from two Foster field goals and the game-winning extra point in overtime. source
Foster’s been on the varsity football team since she was a sophomore, according to the Associated Press, but is primarily a soccer player.
