UPDATE: TX Barefoot Shackled Doorbell Ringing Woman FOUND Victim In Fatal Domestic Violence

HOUSTON, TX. (THECOUNT) — ABC7 is reporting, Texas deputies have located a mystery woman captured ringing the “Ring” doorbell at a Houston home before vanishing.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was able to confirm the woman is now safe Wednesday after they were called to a home on Sunrise Pines around 11 a.m.

Deputies said a man was threatening to commit suicide. When they arrived, deputies found the body of the woman’s 48-year-old boyfriend inside. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The man’s 32-year-old girlfriend, described as a white female from Dallas County living in the Montgomery County area, is confirmed by deputies to be the woman captured on a doorbell camera last Friday.

(ORIGINAL STORY) — Officials in Texas are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman – apparently wearing only a T-shirt – who rang a doorbell early Friday morning and disappeared.

In the brief video circulating on the internet, the woman appears to be wearing only a T-shirt, and is barefoot. Some who have viewed the video online suggested she has what looks like a broken wrist restraint hanging from her right wrist.

The woman approached a home in the Sunrise Ranch subdivision and rang the bell about 3:20 a.m., according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The resident was awakened by the bell, but the woman was gone by the time the resident opened the door, said Lt. Scott Spencer, whose department has circulated the video.

So far, the sheriff’s office hasn’t found any matches in the missing persons database. Deputies also have gone door-to-door and interviewed people in the neighborhood, and they’re reviewing surveillance video from nearby businesses. source

The resident, who asked not to be identified, reviewed the surveillance footage from a private security system and sent it to the sheriff’s office.
