JACKSONVILLE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Ballard, West Virginia man, Taylor Robertson, has been identified as was one of the victims killed in Sunday’s mass shooting that occurred at a “Madden” video game tournament.
“spotmeplzzz” Robertson, 27, was one of the two men shot and killed, reports say. He had career winnings of more than $80,000 and had won the Madden NFL 17 Classic.
The shooter, 24-year-old David Katz of Baltimore died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after opening fire on players who had gathered for the e-games tournament at GLHF Game Bar in Jacksonville Landing. source
Authorities reported three bodies were found at the scene, nine victims were being treated at area hospitals for gunshot wounds, while two others were injured trying to escape the shooting scene. They were all in stable condition.
A motive has not been revealed.
