CONYNGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA. (THECOUNT) — John Dito and Kerri Ann Cooper, both from Shenandoah, PA, have been identified as the man and woman killed Wednesday in a crash on PA-42 in Columbia County, according to state police.
The single-vehicle crash occurred after 9 a.m. on PA-42 in Conyngham Township, near Aristes.
State police say a man was operating a pickup truck when for an unknown reason he lost control and exited the roadway.
Dito, 47, and his passenger, Cooper, also 47, were both ejected from the vehicle during the wreck.
Dito and Cooper were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the crash.
The crash remains under investigation. source
