PORTLAND, OR. (THECOUNT) — Enrique “Henry” Ramirez, of Woodland, Washington, has been identified by authorities as the victim found dead Wednesday. Ramirez had been reported missing earlier this week.
Officials located the body of Ramirez, whose age was not provided, about 9 a.m., in a rural area near his home, the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office said.
The deceased man was about a mile from the end of the paved portion of Frederickson Road, the sheriff’s office said. Authorities provided no specifics about his death but said they found “no suspicious anomalies,” without detailing what that involved. source
Ramirez, a longtime educator, was set to begin this fall as the middle school principal at the Multisensory Learning Academy in Portland, according to the Reynolds School District website.
