DADE CITY, FL. (THECOUNT) — An urgent missing child alert has been issued for a baby and two young boys after a man fled from police.

State officials say Christopher Christy, 1, and 6-year-old twins Justin and Jeremy Simonds were last seen on Tuesday in the 35000 block of Cook Avenue in Dade City.

Officials believe the children may be in the company of Christopher Christy Sr. and his girlfriend Shannon Adams.

“There is a concern for the children’s safety due to the subject’s erratic behavior, and the status of the children is still unknown at this time,” the FDLE alert stated. “The subject recently fled from law enforcement, possibly with the children.” source

Christy Sr. is described as a white male, 29 years old, 5-foot-7 and 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has the letter “C” tattooed on his left arm, the letter “C” on his right forearm, the words “Turn ‘Em Out” on his left hand, and a star on his right arm. He was last seen wearing a light colored T-shirt and camouflage pants.

Shannon Adams, is described as a white female, 24 years old, 5-foot-1 and 110 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Officials say they may be headed for North Carolina in a cream-colored 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser with the front painted blue. The car may be using a temporary spare tire and carries Florida tag 663HB.
