LUFKIN, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jaime Gray has been named as the Texas person who died in the hospital Wednesday following a motorcycle-vs-auto crash Tuesday.
Gray, 45, was identified by the Lufkin Police Department as the victim killed in a crash involving a Dodge Challenger around 6 p.m. in the 2200 block of Atkinson Drive.
Crystal Tovar was pulling out of her driveway and into the path of Gray, who was thrown from the bike as a result of the collision.
Gray was transported via helicopter to an area hospital where he later died of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the crash.
Tovar was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a private drive and no insurance. She was not physically injured in the crash, officials said. source
