Tuesday New Orleans Central Business District Shooting Victim ID’d As May Francois

NEW ORLEANS, LA. (THECOUNT) — May Francois has been identified as the victim found suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle in the Central Business District, in New Orleans, on Tuesday.

Francois, 34, died of an apparent gunshot wound, according to the preliminary report. Francois was shot in the head, according to NOPD.

New Orleans Police believe four people were in a car on the 900 block of Gravier street Monday when police believe one suspect opened fire. source

The car crashed and Francois later died at the hospital.

Police say the three other people exited the the vehicle and fled the scene.
