TYSONS CORNER, VA. (THECOUNT) — A second child shot by Tysons Corner mother, Veronica Youngblood, has sadly passed away.
Youngblood, 33, is accused of murdering the two McLean girls in a shooting that occurred over last weekend, according to authorities.
The shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Lincoln Circle in Fairfax County.
The female child had been taken to the hospital and remained in critical condition for days until ultimately succumbing to her injuries early Saturday morning. Additional charges are anticipated for Veronica Youngblood. source
A judge identified the first young girl shot and killed by a woman Sunday in a Tysons Corner apartment as the alleged killer’s daughter.
The identification of the second victim has not been officially released at this time.
Youngblood has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting and is being held on a no-bond order.
