WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, OK. (THECOUNT) — Kelvin Dean Boyle, has been identified as the “badly damaged” body found along Highway 412 in West Siloam Springs, OK Thursday, according to West Siloam Springs police.
Boyle, 35, was named as the male victim found deceased on Highway 412 Thursday morning. The grisly discovery prompted authorities to launch a homicide investigation.
State and local authorities launched a homicide investigation Thursday morning after finding Boyle’s body in the middle of the highway after being hit by multiple vehicles. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said people started calling police before daylight saying they thought they hit a deer. When officers responded they found Boyle’s body with his head severed. source
The body was so badly damaged that police couldn’t initially determine whether it was male or female.
Police are investigating it as a homicide until they determine otherwise. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are assisting.
