PRICHARD, AL. (THECOUNT) — Javoris James, of Prichard, AL., has been identified as the man shot and killed in what the Prichard Police Department are calling a homicide.
Javoris “Miguel” James, 31, was named as the man shot dead by suspect, 18-year-old, JaQuarris La’Kendall Nodd, who is currently in police custody in connection with the fatal shooting, according to Prichard Police.
The fatal incident occurred on Saint Stephens Road, in Prichard, early Thursday morning.
A call to 911 first reported the shooting in the 1600 block of Saint Stephens Road at 12:53 a.m., according to information from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office website. source
The shooting occurred at the Texaco gas station a few blocks away from I-65, reports say.
