ISOM, KY. (THECOUNT) — Dempsey Cole, 61, and Tonya Cole, 55, have been identified as the husband and wife found dead in a residential garage near KY-15 in the Isom community of Letcher County around 8:23 Monday night.
Kentucky State Police say they are investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.
Police received a call from a concerned family member stating they had located two deceased adults at a residence. When troopers arrived at the scene, they discovered the couple in the garage of their home suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Autopsies are scheduled for both bodies in Frankfort. source
