IN Man Marcus Harris Identified As Gary Victim In Saturday Fatal 5th Ave Crash

GARY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Gary, Indiana man, Marcus Harris, has been identified as the victim killed in a motor vehicle accident at about 9 p.m. Saturday In Gary.

Harris, 40, was traveling in a vehicle at 5th Avenue and Colfax Street in Gary when the fatal crash occurred Saturday.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Marcus Harris of the 2300 block of Virginia Street. source

A coroner’s release said Harris died from blunt force trauma.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details of the crash were immediately made available.

Officials are investigating the accident.

Anyone with information on the deadly crash is urged to contact police at 911.
