HOUSTON, TX (THECOUNT) — North Harris County Texas deputies are investigating after robbers reportedly killed Houston man, Moyses Arreguin, who was attempting to help a teenager robbery victim Saturday morning.
Arreguin, 29, a neighbor of the teen victim, was shot and killed after he tried to intervene in a driveway robbery outside a home near West Hardy & Rankin, in Houston.
Arreguin was shot multiple times and killed by two robbery suspects, reports said.
Deputies say a 16-year-old boy was being robbed at gunpoint in the driveway of his home, when a neighbor tried to come to his rescue. source
Moyses was shot multiple times and killed by the two robbery suspects.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The teen was not injured during the shooting.
The two suspects were described as young Hispanic males who fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan, said deputies.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact police at 911.
The investigation is ongoing.
