SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — A body has been located during the search for missing Ohio woman, Rand Hilal Al Dulaimi, the Ashtabula County sheriff confirmed Thursday.
Al Dulaimi, 23, was last seen on July 9 and reported missing by family members on July 11. Authorities said she disappeared under what they believe to be suspicious circumstances.
The body was located near North Bend Road in Ashtabula, OH, according to officials.
In March of 2017, an Amber Alert was issued and later cancelled after authorities said Al Dulaimi’s ex-husband Jeffrey Stanley abducted their son. Court records show Stanley was convicted on charges of trespassing and endangering children in 2017. Stanley was ordered to have no contact with Al Dulaimi or their son as part of his probation agreement. source
Stanley has been named as a person of interest in Al Dulaimi’s disappearance. He was arrested on July 14 on a parole violation. He is currently being held in the Ashtabula County Jail.
Authorities have not confirmed the identity of the body found Tuesday night, but the sheriff did say they are no longer searching for Al Dulaimi.
The investigation is ongoing.
