NASHVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Nashville Police are asking the public’s help in locating a vehicle after Daniel Shield was found dead inside his West Nashville apartment.
Shield, 30, was found dead in his Delaware Avenue residence after police arrived to perform a welfare check late Tuesday. The welfare check was initiated by a coworker, who said they hadn’t seen him in days.
Police said they found Shield’s body inside his “blood stained” apartment.
The exact cause of death has yet to be determined.
Police said Shields was last seen at 9:30 p.m. on July 4 leaving the bar, “Trax,” located at, 1501 Ensley Boulevard, Nashville, TN.
Police are checking surveillance video to see if Shield departed Trax accompanied by anyone.
Police said they’re looking for a red 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV that is believed to have been taken from the home. The vehicle has Tennessee tag number 35299D. source
