MEMPHIS, TN. (THECOUNT) — Jamyl Price has been identified as the young Memphis mother arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect after police found a dead infant in her residence after responding to a suicide call.
Price, 22, was found unresponsive by arriving officers who then discovered a deceased 2-month-old girl in the home.
Police say they responded to a suicide call Sunday evening when they found 22-year-old Jamyl Price unresponsive. Price was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition. source
The baby’s cause of death has not yet been determined.
Price remains in jail and the case remains under investigation.
