WALTON, KY. (THECOUNT) — David Harris Jr., of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, has died one day after being involved in a fiery Northern Kentucky vehicle crash.
Harris, 51, died in an area hospital Thursday following the Wednesday night crash, the Hamilton County Coroner confirmed.
The 51-year-old was the lone occupant of a car that drove off of northbound Interstate 75 in Walton, crashing into the underside of an overpass. Harris was trapped inside of the vehicle for some time as it caught fire. Officials from four police agencies – and one passerby – attempted to free Harris from the fiery wreckage. source
Harris was transported to an area hospital late Wednesday where he was later pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
