SOUTH SALEM, OH. (THECOUNT) — Lynette Hess has been identified as the woman killed Sunday after a motorcycle, in which she was a passenger, crashed in South Salem, Ohio Sunday night.
Lynette, 50, was a passenger on a 2010 Harley-Davidson Softail motorcycle traveling on Lower Twin Road, at about 10:35 a.m., when the bike exited the roadway and crashed. The vehicle was operated by 43-year-old Ray Hess.
Lynette Hess was taken to Adena Regional Medical Center by Twin Township EMS where she was later pronounced dead. Ray Hess was flown to Grant Medical Center with what the patrol reported as being not life-threatening injuries. source

An accident report said helmets were not worn by either victim.
The crash remains under investigation.
