CLEVELAND, OH. (THECOUNT) — Middlefield, Ohio woman, Jessica Mustin, was identified as the woman killed after a wrong-way driver slammed into her car on Cleveland Memorial Shoreway near the East 9th St. exit ramp early Saturday morning.
Mustin, 22, was struck and killed while operating a Volkswagen Jetta westbound around 2:50 a.m. by a 29-year-old man in a Toyota Camry heading in the wrong direction.
Authorities say Mustin attempted to avoid the man but was unsuccessful and the two vehicles collied.

Mustin was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
The wrong-way driver sustained “life-threatening” head injuries, and was scheduled to undergo surgery.
The crash remains under investigation. In all, four vehicles were involved.
It was not revealed if drugs or alcohol played a role in the violent crash.
