BERLIN, NH. (THECOUNT) – The manhunt for Berlin, NH., resident, Denis Bisson, who is believe to have shot and killed his wife, Angie Bisson, has ended after he was found dead in Rumford, ME., of an apparent suicide.

The body of Bisson, 52, was found late Friday night along the banks of the Androscoggin River near an information booth on Bridge Street in Rumford, according to the Maine State Police and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.

Police said Angie Bisson, 43, died from an apparent gunshot. Following the discovery of her body, New Hampshire state authorities issued a warrant for Steve Bisson for second-degree murder.

Nearby residents heard a gunshot and called police, who subsequently found Angie Bisson’s body around 11:30 p.m. Denis Bisson’s truck was found along an ATV trail off Route 108, roughly three miles from where his body was found. The state medical examiner;s office will conduct an autopsy to confirm the exact cause and manner of death. source

Arriving officers overheard an argument and then gunshots coming from the dwelling.

Investigators have not released details into exactly what led up to the fatal shooting.

According to Facebook, Angie was employed as a department manager of Auto and Sporting Goods at WalMart. She studied at White Mountains Community College.
