MIDWAY, GA. (THECOUNT) — The body of missing Richmond Hill man, Jerry Montgomery, was discovered Tuesday afternoon in Midway.
Montgomery was reported missing in Richmond hill, Ga., on June 1, 2108. Loved ones took to social media in an effort to locate the beloved man.

Liberty County Sheriff officials said Montgomery’s vehicle was located by a Georgia State Patrol helicopter in a wooded area off Dorchester Village Rd & Islands Hwy, Midway, GA., around 1 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Montgomery’s body during the ongoing investigation.
Montgomery was positively identified through dental records.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
