TJ Langfitt ID’d As SC Teen Victim In Fatal Single-Vehicle Leesville Crash

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — TJ Langfitt of Gilbert, SC., was identified as the man killed in a single-vehicle crash June 12.

The fatal crash occurred near the 2000 block of Cedar Grove Road in Leesville at 10p.m., noted the Lexington County coroner.

Timothy Robert “TJ” Langfitt, Jr., 18, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Langfitt was operating a vehicle traveling on Cedar Grove Rd., when he left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck multiple trees.

Langfitt was wearing a seatbelt when the incident occurred, and there were no other occupants in the vehicle. source

The incident is currently under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
