KY Bullitt HS Student ID’d As Bicyclist Killed In Shepherdsville Preston Hwy Crash Friday

SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) – Bullitt Central High School student, Noah Richardson, has been identified as the teen killed in a crash Friday afternoon, according to police.

Richardson was traveling on a bicycle when the fatal crash occurred around 2 p.m. on Old Hwy 61, aka, Preston Hwy, near West 1st Street in Shepherdsville, KY.

The cyclist was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Our family experienced a great tragedy today with the passing of Noah Richardson. Our hearts are heavy and are minds are weary as we try to make sense of the loss of a loved one. It is in times like these that we need to draw strength from each other. Tomorrow from 3pm to 5pm we will have grief counselors and BC staff available at Bullitt Central High School for any student who needs to speak with someone. Our BC family is strong and we will make it through this together.

The operator of the motor vehicle was also transported to an area hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries, according to authorities.
