Katherine Brazeau has been identified by Fullerton police as the woman shot and killed in a police-involved shooting at an office building Thursday.
Brazeau, 46, of Santa Ana, CA., allegedly stabbed her 40-year-old therapist and then barricaded herself inside an office with the injured victim.
Fullerton police forced entry into the office and confronted Brazeau, who still had possession of the knife, and an officer-involved shooting occurred, investigators said.

Brazeau was pronounced dead at the office building located on the corner of Chapman and Acacia avenues.
An autopsy is still pending.
Police said a knife was recovered at the scene.
The therapist, who has not been identified, was transported to a local trauma center with non-life threatening injuries.
