The Texas student arrested for gunning down 10 people at his high school Friday is a 17-year old named Dimitrios Pagourtzis, according to CBS news.
A 17-year old-male student suspected in today’s shooting at Santa Fe High School is in custody, according to a law enforcement official
Santa Fe Independent School District confirmed several explosive devices have been found on and off campus. “Law enforcement is in the process of rendering them safe,” the school district said.
A Santa Fe High School student told a Houston television station that a gunman entered her first-period art class and started shooting.
The student says she observed blood covering a female student as the class was being evacuated from the building.
Law enforcement officers are responding to a high school near Houston after an active shooter was reported on campus. The Santa Fe school district issued an alert Friday morning saying Santa Fe High School has been placed on lockdown. Galveston County sheriff’s Maj. Douglas Hudson says units are responding to reports of shots fired. He had no immediate details on whether anyone has been hurt. source
