UPDATE: The crashed C-130 Hercules military plane may be from the Puerto Rico Army National Guard. A large number of emergency responders are on the scene of a military plane crash on Hwy 21 at Gulfstream Road in Port Wentworth.
The call went out for a reported “plane down” just before noon Wednesday. Witnesses called local news outlets and reported seeing the plane go down.
