Steve Gordon of Port Richey, Florida, has been named as the man killed after his vehicle struck a semi trailer in Hudson Friday night.
Gordon, 53, was traveling State Road 52 & Hicks Road in Port Richey, FL., Friday evening when his van struck the back portion of an 18-wheeler that was stopped on the side of the road.
The driver and passenger of the 2013 Volvo semi had gotten out to unload supplies for the nearby Domino’s, troopers said. That’s when Gordon’s 2015 Ford Transtar struck the back of the semi trailer. source
Gordon was pronounced dead at the scene.
FHP noted he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
Semi driver Anthony Copeland, 27, of Ocala and passenger Troy Lester, 50, of Clermont were unhurt.
