Las Vegas Metro police have named Tuan Ngo, 49, as the suspected shooter in a fatal incident that left a Las Vegas man dead Monday morning in west Las Vegas.
The incident happened shortly before 11 a.m. in the backyard of the home in the 9700 block of Powell Plateau Court, near Hacienda Avenue and Grand Canyon Drive, according to police.
Ngo was described as an Asian man in his late 40’s. He surrendered to police and was detained at the scene, police said.
Police said investigators believe there was an altercation before the shooting.
