Actress Caroline Sunshine, perhaps best known for her role on Disney Channel series “Shake It Up,” has traded her mouse ears for a White House press pass. And not just any press pass.

Sunshine, 22, is now the proud owner of an enhanced brand of White House press pass called a “hard pass,” garnered after scoring employment as a “press assistant.”

It’s possible the former child star will assist and maybe even someday share the press briefing room stage with Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.

Members of the media have different level badges. Sunshine successfully applied for and received a “hard pass,” meaning she can enter and leave the press area anytime she wishes.

Sunshine starred in the popular Disney show alongside Zendaya and Bella Thorne.

A normal press pass or “A Badge,” grants temporary access to the press room and must be requested daily through the press office or media affairs.

Sources close to the White House said Sunshine will most likely be assisting Sanders in her daily duties

Sunshine has been making the transition into politics for a while. She interned for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and the California Republican Party. She was also an active member of her school’s United Nations team. Before receiving the permanent job, Sunshine was an intern at the White House, said reports.

Sunshine’s last television credit was in the 2017 Lifetime movie “Mommy, I Didn’t Do It,” according to IMDB.
