The search is over for two suspects following a shooting at a KFC in Big Springs that sent a 2-year-old girl to the hospital.
Big Spring police say they took Angel Villa, 20, and Rafael Jesus Hernandez Jr., 20, in custody following an anonymous tip as to their whereabouts in Colorado City Texas.
According to the Big Spring Police Department, their officers were dispatched to KFC on Friday night after receiving a call reporting shots fired.
When police arrived at the scene they found that a man and a young girl had been shot. The man was taken to the Scenic Mountain Medical Center while the girl was airlifted to Lubbock in serious condition. source
Witnesses said the victims tried to drive away but continued to be shot at as they left the parking lot.
