John Christopher Ludwick, the Port Charlotte man who infamously claimed to assist Joran van der Sloot dispose of Natalee Holloway‘s body, has himself been killed in North Port, Florida.
Ludwick, who appeared in the Oxygen TV series “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway,” was killed while attempting to kidnap a woman, North Port police said. Ludwick was stabbed as he struggled with the victim.
Ludwick attempted to abduct a woman he knew as she exited her vehicle on the 4300 block of Wesley Lane at about 6:50 a.m., police said.
“He then fled the area on foot,” police said in a statement. “He was found nearby suffering from the stab wounds. After being transported by air he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.” source
Holloway disappeared in 2005 during a high school graduation trip to Aruba. van der Sloot, who was the last person seen with the 18-year-old, was never charged with her presumed death.
Ludwick claimed van der Sloot paid him $1,500 to dig up Holloway’s remains and cremate them.
