The Louisville Metro Police Department is responding after multiple people — including a police officer — have been shot in Louisville’s Buechel neighborhood.
According to a MetroSafe supervisor, the first reports were received just after 1:30 p.m. We’re told it happened near the intersection of Bardstown Road and Fegenbush Lane. source
There is no word on the condition of any of the shooting victims, including the officer.
A high speed police escort is transporting the fallen officer to an area hospital, according to police scanner traffic.
The incident may have taken place at 219 Grandview Avenue, Louisville, KY, according to stationed SWAT Team members.
